藍染筒描「鯉の滝昇り」
中国・黄河の龍門という急流を昇りきった鯉は龍に化す、という中国の故事を元にした意匠。鯉は出身出世を表す魚として好まれた。
ギリギリまで図案が決まらず、波模様は下書きも無く直接筒で描いて行きました。 展示会当日の朝にやっと染め上がり、半分濡れたまた赤レンガ倉庫の展示会場に飾った大変思いで深い作品です．

この筒描は横浜 岡村にある「とんかつ美とん さくらい」岡村店 店内に展示いただいています。
